Why I'm asking
I'm not in trouble. I want to be upfront about that, because most people asking for money online are lying about something.
I'm a developer in Argentina. A thousand dollars isn't life-changing here, but it's real money — it's breathing room, and I'd feel it.
I could have invented a story that would raise a lot more. Instead I'm telling you the boring truth and letting you decide.
The whole ask is $5. If 200 people say yes, it's done.

Why should I give you money?
Honestly? No reason you have to. I'm not owed anything and you're not missing out on anything if you skip it. I'm asking because asking is free and the internet is occasionally generous.
Is this a scam?
Fair question. Nothing here asks for your data, your login or a subscription — the button goes to Buy Me a Coffee, which handles the payment, so I never see your card. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking of any kind. And I'm not telling you a story designed to make you feel guilty.
Why $5?
Because it's small enough that you won't think about it tomorrow, and because 200 people at $5 is exactly $1,000. Any other amount works too.

Nothing dramatic: it's breathing room for a developer in Argentina. I'm not going to invent a more moving destination than that.
